What is a Visit?
A Visit is defined as a person who visits your site for the first time as a new visitor or as a returning visitor. A returning visitor is someone who visited your site more than 30 minutes ago. For example, if I visit your site for the first time ever on Monday, then I'm considered a new visitor. If I return later that night, more than 30 minutes has passed since my last visit so I'm now considered a returning visitor.
What is a Page View?
A Page View is when a visitor clicks on a page on your site. If I visit your homepage, that's one page view. If I then click on a link to visit another page on your site, that's a second page view.
